Winkler Volunteer Fair - Non-Profit Sign Up

Calling all Winkler Non-Profits, Charities, Community Groups, and Organizations!

Volunteer Manitoba is excited to partner with the Winkler Central Station Resource Centre and the Winkler Community Foundation to bring you the Winkler Volunteer Fair on Thursday, October 22nd at Garden Valley Collegiate.

This two-session event is being held alongside the Youth in Philanthropy (YIP) program and offers a unique opportunity to connect with hundreds of students from varied schools in the area, as well as community members who are eager to learn more about the organizations that help make Winkler such a vibrant and caring community.

Two Opportunities to Connect:

Students Session | 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Connect with hundreds of students from 12 schools across the area. This session is an opportunity to introduce students to your organization, share your mission, and inspire the next generation of community leaders, volunteers, advocates, and changemakers. 

Community Session | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Open to the public, this session welcomes community members of all ages who are interested in learning about local organizations, causes, services, and volunteer opportunities. 

This event is about showcasing the incredible work being done throughout our community. Whether you're a charity, non-profit, community initiative, or grassroots group, this is a chance to:

• Share your mission and impact
• Raise awareness about the services and programs you provide
• Inspire students to become engaged citizens
• Build connections with community members and other organizations
• Highlight how people can support your cause through volunteering, advocacy, participation, donations, or simply learning more

While organizations with volunteer opportunities are encouraged to participate, you do not need to be recruiting volunteers to take part.

Organizations will be provided with a table and 1–2 chairs to showcase their promotional material.
