Volunteer Management Essentials workshop provides you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to thrive in today's volunteer engagement landscape!
Over the course of 6 modules, participants will focus on the volunteer management cycle, explore the Canadian Code for Volunteer Involvement (CCVI) and how organizations of all sizes can implement the core components of the CCVI.
Participants will leave with practical tools and reference materials that can be immediately applied within their organization.

Participants will have an opportunity to network with other volunteer engagers and become familiar with current resources on the topic of volunteer management.
Who should attend?
This workshop is recommended for volunteer managers, staff and leadership volunteers who are responsible for the recruitment, management and recognition of volunteers within their organization or group.
Facilitator:
Denise Bukowski, CVA is a volunteer engagement professional with more than 35 years of experience across health care, recreation, education, tourism, childcare, fitness, and sport administration. Denise holds a Bachelor of Recreation Studies from the University of Manitoba, a diploma in Health Care Services Management and certificate in Human Resource Management from Red River College. In 2020 she received her international certification designation in Volunteer Administration (CVA).
Her contributions to the profession have been recognized through provincial and national awards!
